06/06 - Melissa Shippee - Les Fleurs Anciennes Necklace

This striking beaded necklace combines geometric elegance with intricate craftsmanship. The design features interlocking diamond and marquise shapes, accented by star-like  motifs that showcase sparkling crystals at their centers. The centerpiece highlights a large faceted stone framed with layers of peyote stitch and netting, giving the pendant rich  dimension and texture. Created with high quality seed beads in varying finishes and colors, the necklace is built with a mix of peyote stitch, netting, and embellishment techniques.  The adjustable cord adds versatility, making this piece both wearable and a showcase of advanced beadwork artistry.

Kits are mandatory and will be purchased from Melissa closer to the date of the class.  Kits are available in the 4 colorways shown.  Kits are $92.

Class is limited to a maximum of 20 students and minimum of 8 students. You can choose to Zoom from home or hang with Melissa and others at the shop - we will be using the 51" big screen TV that I have in the shop
