This elegant looking covering to go around an egg is made using netting techniques that incorporate bugle beads, crystals and seed beads. This design has a base built right into so the egg stand sturdily on it's own. This ornament pattern has 10 pages of detailed instructions, photographs and diagrams. The pattern assumes you have previous beading experience.
You will be doing various forms of netting with 2 holed beads with a small amounts of other stitches.
To make this ornament you need: Size 11/0 Japanese cylinder beads 4mm pearls, crystals or druk Bugle beads 2.5" x1.75" (60-63mm x 43-46mm) egg Size 10 & 12 beading needles OneG or Fireline or beading thread of choice Optional - Egg Ornament Top & Aileens Tacky or Elmers Glue
