Louise snowflake beaded pattern. Named after my maternal grandmother - it's as polished as she was.
This snowflake has several places where you need to choose what to do. You can make a flat snowflake, You can make a 2-layer snowflake with the top layer separate from the bottom layer or connected to the bottom layer. You can choose to add a Chaton to the center of the snowflake or a crystal or leave it empty.
In this pattern you get detailed instructions on how to make the snowflake.
There is a separate download that explains about stiffening and straightening the snowflake.
You will be doing peyote stitch, netting working with picots and optionally bezeling a chaton.
To make this ornament you need:
11/0 Seed beads
15/0 Seed beads
3mm crystals, pearls, druks or gemstones
Ginkgo beads
SuperDuos
Optional Chaton
Size 10 needle
Beading thread of choice - One G, KO or Fireline
