Zweibel - the Pennsylvania Dutch word for onion - pronounced shwibla according to my PA Dutch mother-in-law. I named it this because the ginkgo beads look like the onion domes of the Russian Orthodox churches.
In this pattern you get detailed instructions on how to make the ornament, the bracelet and the earrings.
You will be doing various forms of netting mostly with a stitch or 2 of right angle weave thrown in.
To make this ornament you need:
Ginkgo beads
11/0 Seed
15/0 Seed
3mm crystals, druks, pearls or gemstones
4mm crystals, druks, pearls or gemstones
6mm crystals, druks, pearls or gemstones
Amos Par Puca
3x11 Dagger
Big Drop (I used 10x12)
2½ glass ball ornament
2 5/8" ornament
Size 12 needle
Beading thread of choice - One G, KO or Fireline
For the bracelet you will need:
Ginkgo beads
11/0 seed beads
3mm crystals, druks, pearls or gemstones
4mm crystals, druks, pearls or gemstones
Jump Rings
Clasp
For the earrings you will need:
Ginkgo beads
11/0 seed beads
3x11 daggers
4mm crystals, druks, pearls or gemstones
Earwires
Wire Guards (optional)
